Is this suitable for a beginner?

No drawing or colour mixing is required. Intermediate means the design contains more small areas and rewards patience, but the number-to-colour process stays the same.

What exactly arrives in the kit?

A numbered linen canvas, pre-mixed acrylic paints, three brush sizes, a reference image and wall hooks. The wooden inner frame is included only with Framed.

No Frame or Framed—which should I choose?

Choose No Frame for the lower price and maximum framing flexibility. Choose Framed when you want the canvas pre-stretched and ready to paint and display.

How long will Flowers and Bicycles take?

Voor de eerste keer heb ik Painting by Numbers uitgeprobeerd. Het doek moet je zelf bevestigen op een frame (eerst in elkaar zetten). Je schildert dus gewoon op een echt doek. Ik vond het zeer verslavend om te doen, want als je eenmaal bezig bent met 1 nummertje, wil je alle vakjes gaan speuren en inkleuren. Wel is bijv. een specifieke verfnummer (ik geloof 13 in dit geval) snel op of droogt sneller uit. Sommige verven schilderen fijner dan andere kleuren. Ook heb ik aantal nieuwe penselen gekocht (bij de Action) om meer variatie en penselen te hebben voor de grotere en kleinere vakjes. Maar ik ben zeer tevreden met mijn eigen schilderkunst en resultaat. Ik ben nu begonnen met een ander schilderij. Het duurt wel weken voordat het af is. Maar is leuke afleiding (van de tv en social media).

I've always been very impressed with the end results with figured art paintings, colours are very accurate to the pictures and the end results are astounding love painting by numbers so relaxing and therapeutic will be looking forward to getting another one after I've finished my bicycle with flowers.
