Five Factors to Consider
1. Difficulty Level
Our kits come in three difficulty levels:
- Easy: Larger sections, fewer colors (12–24). Great for first-timers and kids 8+.
- Intermediate: More detail, more colors (24–36). Perfect if you've done 1–2 kits.
- Advanced: Fine details, many colors (36–48). A rewarding challenge for experienced painters.
2. Theme
Choose a design you'll enjoy spending hours with. Our most popular themes include:
- Animals — from dogs to wildlife
- Nature & Landscapes — mountains, forests, gardens
- Coast & Ocean — beaches, waves, marine life
- Cities & Travel — skylines, landmarks, streets
- Abstract & Patterns — bold, modern designs
3. Frame Options
Every kit is available in two formats:
- No Frame: Canvas arrives rolled or flat — you frame it yourself. Good if you already have a frame.
- Framed: Canvas is pre-stretched on a wooden frame — ready to hang immediately upon completion.
4. Canvas Size
Our standard size is 40 × 50 cm (16 × 20 in) — large enough for beautiful detail, manageable enough for most spaces. This is the sweet spot for most painters.
5. Number of Colors
More colors = more nuanced artwork but also more time and patience needed:
- 24 colors: Good for simple designs, faster completion
- 36 colors: Best balance of detail and manageability
- 48 colors: Maximum depth and realism
